CalPERS is seeking an enthusiastic Analyst II to join our Retirement Benefit Services Division. Be part of a mission-driven team that values integrity and quality service, helping us deliver accurate benefits to California’s public employees and their families.
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, you would be responsible for addressing service retirement inquiries, completing service retirement estimate requests, and calculating retirement benefits to ensure CalPERS retirees receive a timely and accurate benefit payment.
The Analyst II is responsible for independently researching, analyzing, and completing a full range of benefit related assignments. This includes resolving outstanding eligibility requirements, working with stakeholders to obtain required information needed to process service retirement calculations, and partnering with other California pensions systems to exchange reciprocal salary information.
The preferred candidate has subject matter expertise in payroll/benefit administration and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
