What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Serve as a consultative resource for retirement plan compliance matters, collaborating with legal and compliance teams.
  • Provide technical expertise on plan design and compliance for private equity and M&A transactions.
  • Develop and deliver webinars on retirement plan compliance topics for internal and external audiences.
  • Create training materials for the professional development of colleagues related to qualified plan administration.
  • Stay updated on market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory changes to facilitate discussions with colleagues.
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 15+ years of experience in defined contribution consulting, including plan design and compliance testing.
  • Subject matter expertise in 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), governmental, and nonqualified plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and problem-solve data.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • ASPPA designations such as CPC, QPA, QKC, and/or ERPA strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve client issues using available resources.
  • Strong executive presence, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience reviewing plan documents and other employee benefit materials.
  • Willingness to innovate and continuously acquire new skills.
