Senior Wealth Strategists leverage the extensive resources of our home office to support our financial advisors in serving their clients with complex needs. This position plays a critical role in serving as the primary point of contact between the two groups. You will be called upon as a financial planning subject matter expert, on the firm's full suite of financial planning tools, investment offerings and how they're leveraged to help clients define their financial goals and identify solutions to keep them on-track.
Additionally, you will apply knowledge of financial planning disciplines to unique client circumstances and work directly with branch teams and their clients.
You'll be joining a team of high-energy associates, with tenure ranging from years to decades, dedicated to personal development, inclusion and diversity, and partnering with financial advisors as part of the client team.
What you'll do...- Develop Goals based strategies for clients with complex needs using a team approach which requires specific technical knowledge in a particular subject matter area such as Tax and other planning disciplines.
- Partner with Financial Advisors to strengthen delivery of complex financial plans for high-value clients and prospects, providing guidance and resources to enhance confidence and create an exceptional client experience.
- Communicate with financial advisors and clients to gain understanding of client's needs, aid in documenting client goals, articulate investment and financial planning strategies and recommendations, identify expertise needed to help the client achieve their goals, and help build relationships with clients and financial advisors
- Serve as a subject matter expert for a specific topic that supports the creation of goals-based and financial planning recommendations for clients with complex needs.
- Contribute to firm wide goals, projects and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.
- Drive department/team wide goals, projects and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.
- Serve as subject matter expert for complex cases requiring deep technical knowledge and financial planning experience. Have a strong understanding of upcoming rules/regulations and impacts to their area of expertise and financial planning concepts.

Hiring Minimum: $117000
Hiring Maximum: $199300
Skills/Requirements What you'll need...- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire
- Insurance license required within 6 months of hire
- CFP® or CFA® required in accordance with firm policy)
- Broad knowledge of branch teams and branch structure
Years of Relevant
Experience:
- 9+ years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
Skills:
- Strong presentation and communication skills
Personal initiative and ability to collaborate and build relationships
- Ability to lead small groups and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to lead a client meeting with multiple professionals
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Understanding of Financial Advisor and Branch Team Support Member(s) processes including the implementation of Core Wealth, Banking, and Financial Planning offerings.
