Credit Controller

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client to join their friendly and supportive finance team as a Credit Controller on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, and offers hybrid working, providing a good balance between office and home-based work. You will be joining a welcoming workplace where people are encouraged, supported and valued.

• Monitor customer accounts and ensure outstanding invoices are collected in a timely manner.
• Chase overdue payments by phone, email and written correspondence, reporting to the Hiring Manager.
• Allocate and reconcile incoming payments, and investigate invoice queries with internal departments.
• Prepare regular reports on aged debt and cash collection.
• Escalate problem accounts when required.
• Keep accurate records of all credit control activity.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable, who has strong communication skills and a good eye for detail.
