• Lead the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Taxes and Fees Program, making regulatory determinations for tax exemptions and refunds
• Conduct financial hardship reviews and evaluate compliance with financial responsibility requirements
• Process UST Tax Exemption certificate applications and associated refunds
• Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations for program improvements
• Mentor and train team members on financial determinations related to UST-LUST programs

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in budget analysis, accounting, or data processing
• Knowledge of accounting and budgeting principles, as well as federal and state regulations
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

• Experience with financial compliance evaluations and trend analysis in a governmental context
• Familiarity with LEAN concepts and problem-solving methodologies
• Advanced skills in virtual visual management tools, particularly Trello
