Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Director with a proven track record in M&A and the Office of the CFO. The ideal candidate is a CPA with a strong background in transaction accounting, accounting advisory, specializing in preparing companies for exits, carve-outs, audit readiness, and IPO readiness, predominantly serving private equity. This role will work directly with the client and lead teams executing high-level, quality client service.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and execute carve-out transactions for financial services firms, ensuring smooth separations and operational continuity.

• Experience operating as Interim CFO for a variety of organizations.

• Provide technical accounting advisory, guiding clients through complex financial reporting, SEC compliance, and GAAP/IFRS requirements.

• Oversee IPO readiness, ensuring financial statements, internal controls, and regulatory filings meet market and investor expectations.

• Develop and implement financial and operational strategies to maximize deal value.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting M&A activity in financial services.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in M&A, audit, accounting advisory, or transaction services.

• Strong background in financial services, with a focus on carve-outs, technical accounting, and regulatory compliance.

Proven track record of leading complex M&A transactions, particularly in carve-out scenarios.

• Deep understanding of IPO readiness, bankruptcy, and financial restructuring.

• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
