Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Loan Officer Assistant based in New York, NY, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Loan Officer Assistant will support loan officers with daily responsibilities, including managing client files, coordinating loan documents, streamlining the mortgage application process, and providing exceptional customer service to clients and partners. Responsibilities also include ensuring timely completion of documentation and maintaining consistent communication with all parties involved to facilitate smooth loan processing.

Qualifications
  • Experience in working with Loan Officers and knowledge of the mortgage industry
  • Customer service expertise and client relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with underwriting processes and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using loan origination systems and related software is a plus
  • Ability to work well in both an office setting and remote environment
  • Prior experience in the real estate lending or financial services industry is preferred
