** As we welcome our new Reserve Bank Governor, we are also looking to welcome new Senior Analysts – Financial System Assessment to support our nationally significant mahi.

** Te tūranga – The role
** We have three roles available across two teams within the Financial System Assessment directorate. One is in the System Monitoring & Analysis team, which produces the Financial Stability Report. Two roles are available in the Effectiveness and Engagement team, which assesses the performance of the financial system in delivering our purpose, and leads RBNZ's domestic and international financial system this role you will conduct in-depth analysis and research across a range of areas to address complex questions and challenges facing New Zealand and global economies.
You will leverage your technical and communication skills to contribute to our external publications, shaping our policies, support our decision-making and advance our understanding of the financial system.**Ō pūkenga – About you
** We’re looking for a collaborative worker, who can work to deadlines effectively. To be successful in this role you will have:
* Relevant professional experience in the fields of banking, insurance, financial markets, accounting, macroeconomics, economics, or at other central banks
* Analytical and research skills
* Understanding of financial systems, especially banking and regulatory frameworks
* Experience with data collections or performing policy analysis
* The proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
