Post:
Assistant Transactional Services Officer – 6 months fixed term.
Salary: Grade E – £25,583 to £25,989
Hours: 37 Hours
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Council Offices Codsall
The role- To assist the Accounts Payable Officer in the Payment of supplier invoices in line with agreed payments terms
- To assist the Accounts Receivable Officer in the issue and collection of income due in line with credit terms
Must be able to work on their own initiative and part of a small team, have meticulous attention to detail. Experience of cash receipting, carrying out reconciliations, managing their own workload to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of accounting software, numerical and analytical skills and the ability to interpret and use data. Good customer service is essential.
