As a Mortgage Loan Officer at Oak Leaf Community Mortgage, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and advising them on suitable mortgage options. Day-to-day tasks include assisting clients with loan applications, evaluating financial profiles, coordinating with underwriters, and ensuring a smooth loan approval process. You will work closely with internal teams to provide exceptional service to customers.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, offering a mix of in-office and remote work flexibility.
- Experience as a Loan Officer or in the Mortgage Industry with a strong understanding of Mortgage Lending
- Familiarity with Underwriting processes and policies related to mortgage lending
- Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to build and sustain client relationships
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Proficient in financial analysis and credit assessment
- Knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or licensure in mortgage lending are preferred
