Your role as a Financial Accountant - UK
As a Full-Time Financial Accountant at Beacon Therapeutics (USA) Inc in London, you will be responsible for a range of daily tasks that ensure accurate financial management. You'll prepare and maintain financial statements, manage general ledger entries, and assist in monthly close processes. Daily reconciliations of accounts will be a key part of your routine, as will tracking and analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing insights and reporting that drive decision-making.
Additionally, you will support budget preparation and forecasting efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals. Continuous improvement will be an essential focus, as you will actively seek ways to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy. - Full purchase to pay responsibilities. This will involve but not be limited to matching purchase orders to invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. Processing non PO related invoices in accordance with company policies. Investigating and resolving queries related to purchase orders invoices and vendor accounts. Managing new vendor setup ensuring compliance with internal controls and documentation. Responsible for reviewing and approving employee expense claims ensuring timely reimbursement accurate VAT recording and full compliance with the Company’s Travel and Expense policy.
Maintain the Goods Received Not Invoiced ledger ensuring all open items are accurate and up to date. Manage the preparation and submission of 1099 forms for U.S. entities only.
