Work setup: In-office/Hybrid option in Edina, MN +
satellite/Remote office option case-by-case; other markets may be remote-first with supported coworking options.

W2 (salary + quarterly bonuses + benefits)

  • Base salary starts at $50,000 if you have no clients
    ; increases with any portable book/revenue
  • Once practice revenue exceeds $100,000
    , base is typically set at 50% of revenue
    , with quarterly bonuses that can bring total payout to 60%–75% of revenue as production grows
  • Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k)

1099 (higher payout / independence)

  • Higher payout structure; service/support model varies by selection

Flexibility: You can switch between W2 and 1099 at any pay period

What You’ll Do
  • Build and grow your own book of business (planning-centric)
  • Own client relationships: discovery, recommendations, ongoing reviews
  • Deliver integrated advice across investments, retirement, insurance, and tax coordination
  • Execute consistent business development with coaching and structure

Note: This is not a service-only role and not insurance-only.

Requirements
  • Planning-first mindset; willing to do business development
  • Coachable, growth-oriented, entrepreneurial
  • Licensing in combinations such as:
    65/66
    , 7 + 66
    , or 6/63 + 65 (others considered depending on track/state)
Ideal Profile
  • 2–7 years experience in a client-facing advisory/financial services role (strong outliers considered)
  • CFP or on the CFP path is a plus
  • Planning-forward advisors, career changers with sales DNA + licensing willingness, and CPAs/EAs interested in adding wealth management
