Manager Indirect Tax

Hotel: Corp India GSC Delivery Centre, 11th Floor, Building No. 10, Tower C, DLF Cyber City, DLF Phase II, 122002

Responsible for managing the Company’s tax compliance processes, assisting various reporting and tax audit. Schedule work assignments in all functional areas and provide day-to-day technical guidance and training to subordinate tax analysts to ensure the timely filing of all tax forms and the completion of such filings within budget and according to department standards. Analyses and interprets tax implications to provide management information on tax efficiency and savings.

• Analyze, review and ensure that all tax returns are filed on time in assigned jurisdictions
• Analyze the tax implications on our companies’ operations in the assigned territories
• Assist in tax planning for assigned territories and ensure maximum tax efficiency and savings
• Lead tax impact analysis/setting up of tax structure etc.
• Assist in handling tax queries from tax authorities
• Prepare annual tax provision for various entities
• Provide in house tax advisory to stakeholder when required
• Lead the development/changes required from tax perspective due to change in tax landscape
• Ensure proper advisory is take from the consultants on important matters
• Look for areas for process improvement and lead the same for better efficiency
• Ensure proper SOP’s are in place and check with team to update the same on timely basis
• Oversee and ensure statutory reporting in various territories are complied with
• Handles external auditors and assist them in their audits and take care of all audit requirements in furnishing statements and audit confirmations
• To mark as a backup of the Senior Manager when required
• Ensure adherence to SOX requirements in process activities
• Support on new hotel openings/setting up of tax structure etc.
• To ensure that all information/replies/clarifications are provided to the authorities during assessments/audits done by government authorities

Education Graduate Diploma in Financial Management/CA/CWA/MBA(F)

Experience With at least 6 years professional/management experience in taxation and compliance.

• Good understanding of indirect tax law and practical implications.
• Good working knowledge of ERP environment.
• Good experience will be required in Indirect Tax, P&L Analysis, Balance Sheet review and reconciliations, MIS reporting, possesses good analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Follow the key controls & compliance requirements of the organization and understands the implication of non-compliances
• Ability to understand, interpret and provide information and support to meet the audit requirements for their respective regions for internal and external audits including SOX audits
• Possess good communication/presentation skills and overall, a pleasing personality. Must be willing to travel and flexibility around shift timings
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information
