An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high calibre finance professional to join Angus Health and Social Care Partnership as the Partnership Finance Manager. This key role offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of high quality, community-based health and social care services across Angus.

Working closely with the Partnership’s Chief Financial Officer you will play a vital role in supporting the overall financial management of the Partnership. You will assist the Chief Finance Officer in the delivery and co-ordination of activities associated with financial governance, financial reporting and financial management and strategic financial planning. You will be part of a dedicated team providing a comprehensive financial management service to the Partnership, which manages an annual budget of approximately £250m.
We are seeking an individual with management accounting experience, strong analytical skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. The ability to support change and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
The current working arrangement is based on a blended model of home and office-based working and an ability to travel will be required.
As Angus Health and Social Care Partnership is a partnership of Angus Council and NHS Tayside, all staff are employed through one of our partners (i.e. Angus Council or NHS Tayside). While these posts are being advertised through NHS Tayside, the successful candidate will have the option of becoming an employee of either NHS Tayside or Angus Council.
Hours of work are: 37 per week
Responsibilities- Support the Chief Finance Officer in delivering and coordinating activities related to financial governance, financial reporting and financial management.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning and the delivery of high-quality financial services for the Partnership.
- Provide input as part of a dedicated financial management team handling an annual budget of approximately £250m.
- Experience in management accounting and strong analytical skills.
- Proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to support change and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, health and social care environment.
- Willingness to travel and operate in a blended remote/office working arrangement.
