Underwriter, Insurance Analyst
Job Description
• Senior Motor Underwriter – London Office Commercial Motor Fleet team.
• Join us in driving the growth and profitability of Branch Motor accounts through New Business, Renewals and support of the Allianz London fleet team.
• Maintain underwriting integrity, account analysis and training activities.
• Manage and grow current relationships, creating new contacts and providing excellent customer service.
• Review panel performance MI, ensuring consistent delivery of KPI’s and identify solutions to address issues or exploit opportunities.
• Support change within the team, mobilising others to embrace new processes and practices.
Hybrid work pattern: work from home combined with time in our London office, present in the market 2–3 days per week.
• We support flexible part‑time hours, job shares and a healthy work‑life balance.
- Up to date knowledge of the London Motor Market and broker network.
- Strong relationship base within the London Commercial market.
- Proven motor underwriting experience.
- Experience coaching, training and acting as a referral point within a team.
- Ability to manage and own broker relationships and large case management.
- Good stakeholder management ability.
- Adaptable communication styles – verbal, written, face‑to‑face.
- Excellent trading and negotiation skills.
- ACII qualified or progressing towards qualification.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and Salesforce.
