Your role in the teamAs a Financial Accountant / Tax Specialist, you will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for our legal entities worldwide in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
Your responsibilities- Main contact person for local tax advisors and auditors in various countries.
- Responsibility for the financial statements of subsidiaries worldwide.
- Takeover of general ledger accounting/daily business for our countries.
- Supporting the team in reconciling accounts within our group and creating reports to the supervisor/management.
- Creating reports to the supervisor and within the company.
- Analysis and processing of tax and accounting issues with local tax advisors.
- Completed vocational training as a Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt), Financial Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), or a comparable professional qualification (e.g., tax consultant background).
- Strong knowledge of tax law, with a particular focus on VAT (Value Added Tax).
- Several years of professional experience in finance and in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements with IFRS 16.
- Coordination between all local tax consultants.
- Analytical thinking skills, understanding of numbers.
- High level of initiative and creativity.
- Proficient in both English and German.
- MS Office skills with a particular focus on Excel are desirable.
