USAID’s Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA) manages acquisition and assistance actions across the Agency. Senior accountants lead the preparation, review, and finalization of USAID’s dismantlement financial statements, account closures, and transfer entries.
Salary Range$130,000–$165,000
Position SummaryManage final statement preparation, financial note reporting, and coordination with CFO and OIG reviewers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead preparation of A-136 compliant financial statements.
- Post transfer entries for assets and liabilities.
- Verify closure/transfer of foreign currency accounts.
- Coordinate with auditors and senior financial leadership.
- CPA or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years federal accounting experience including 3+ years managerial.
