Assistant Manager

Responsible for playing a pivotal role in Financial and Legal Entity Control function, supporting Macquarie's financial health and regulatory compliance. Specific duties: conduct detailed monthly balance sheet and P&L analysis; manage month‑end general ledger close; manage various regulatory, financial, and corporate data reporting requirements; prepare financial statements for group subsidiary entities; serve as Legal Entity Controller for business entities, including managing legal entity capital activities;

assist Tax Reporting team by providing analysis of legal entity performance drivers and fluctuations and developing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation; oversee new business developments to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and documentation; and review work of junior team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Business Administration, Commerce, or Economics) and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing
• Prior experience must include 3 years providing legal entity control and/or financial control services within investment banking
• 3 years preparing and reviewing financial reports
• 3 years preparing investment reports and reconciliations
• 3 years analyzing working capital requirements and potential credit risk exposure
• 3 years preparing monthly management reports. Must be CPA or CA.

Salary range for this position: $103,000 to $113,000/Year. Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
