Description

We are looking for a skilled Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and managing transactional accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Quick Books and a background in the service industry. This is primarily a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Oversee month-end close procedures, including reconciliations and adjustments.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.

- Maintain and utilize accounting software systems to streamline operations.

- Monitor budgets and provide insights to support financial planning.

- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to financial regulations.

- Supervise transactional accounting activities to improve accuracy and performance.

- Collaborate with multiple locations to maintain consistent financial practices.

- Utilize CRM tools to manage financial data and reporting processes.

- Implement and optimize financial procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements - Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software systems.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general accounting functions.

- Familiarity with auditing processes and budget management.

- Experience in using CRM tools and reporting systems such as Crystal Reports.

- Background in the service industry is highly preferred.

- Ability to work remotely and manage financial operations across multiple locations.

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
