Head of FP&A

Our Leeds based client is a well established, international business services provider with an outstanding reputation and a recognised brand. As part of their commitment to continuous improvement they are looking to recruit an experienced Head of FP&A who will work closely with the business to lead a commercial finance team that will analyse and identify opportunities for improvement and help deliver them.

Ultimately this role is responsible for working closely with a number of senior stakeholders up to board level providing the commercial analysis and insight that will help shape the long-term strategic plans of the business to achieve greater efficiency and higher margins. The role will have a strong emphasis on budgeting and forecasting as well as supporting the business on achieving its P&L targets.

Suitable candidates will ideally be a fully qualified Accountant able to demonstrate a track record in a Commercial Finance / FP&A role. You will work closely with other areas of the business to help inform and influence their strategic decisions. Strong experience in data modelling and commercial accounting is essential as are exceptional commercial insight and influencing skills. You will be comfortable leading a small, dedicated team whilst also still being hands on with the data and the presentation of information.

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to challenge and influence others, demonstrating a track record of astute commercial judgement. Our client operates a hybrid working model with on average 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
