Account Assistant

At Tax One, we are building a Tax Investigations & Resolution Team - a group of specialists who analyse complex cases, negotiate with HMRC and help clients navigate difficult tax situations. We are looking for someone who can think broadly, see connections and focus on finding the best possible solutions.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
• Fluent Polish and fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, and creative problem‑solving ability
• Willingness to work on complex cases and communicate directly with HMRC (including phone calls)
• Excellent client communication skills and the ability to build relationships
• Experience with Xero and Free Agent
• Experience in preparing and submitting Self Assessment Tax Returns
• Knowledge of Dext is an advantage

• Salary £27,000 - £28,000 per year (depending on experience)
