As the Financial Controller for Order to Cash (O2C) Accounts Receivable (AR) within the Global Finance Operations team, you will be a key part of the O2C Leadership team, working with the Head of Finance to deliver both the operational and strategic objectives of the department.

• Lead a team of 6-7 individuals, providing day to day operational leadership as well as leading the wider objectives of the team and the development support required to help the team prosper
• Partner with Commercial Finance, Controllership & Outsource teams to create robust and lasting relationships
• Owning the performance of B2B credit collection at Sky, maintaining world class performance on key metrics for your area
• Work closely with the Process design team and Comcast Cable to identify potential significant transformation improvements and to ensure robust and standardised processes are set up
• Lead on Continuous Improvement initiatives for your business area
• Lead the escalations process between Sky key internal stakeholders and Sky Outsource Partners for your business area
• Liaising with a wide network of cross-territory stakeholders, ensuring that they are provided with relevant, timely and accurate information which informs and directs business decisions
• Own and be accountable for maintaining a strong, robust and well-designed control environment as well as being the first point of contact for both internal and external audit assignments covering the function.
• Be able to deputise for the Head of Finance when appropriate.

• Extensive Accounts Receivable and credit collections experience
• Experience in leading a team
• Resilience and drive to deliver continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, with experience of addressing senior partners and building strong relationships with them
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel. ERP knowledge desirable, ideally SAP
• Accounting experience and qualification desirable
