Senior Tax Consultant

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Tax Consultant based in Augusta, Georgia with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Tax Consultant will be responsible for managing and executing advanced tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and providing assistance during tax audits. Additional responsibilities include interpreting complex tax regulations and advising clients on tax-related matters to optimize their financial strategies.

Collaborating with team members and maintaining strong client relationships will also be integral to this role.

• Knowledge and experience in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance
• Proficiency in Tax Preparation and Tax Audits
• Strong understanding of Tax Law and its application
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA designation preferred)
• Experience in a public accounting firm or similar environment is a plus
