What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire an IT Finance Data Support Analyst - Contractor within our [Finance / Technology / Shared Services] organization. In this role, you will support financial systems and data processes by ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and timely resolution of data-related issues. You will partner closely with Finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to support reporting, analysis, and ongoing system improvements.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate financial and technical data into actionable insights.

• Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Serving as a primary point of contact for finance data and system-related questions, issues, and support requests
• Monitoring, validating, and reconciling financial data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Supporting financial reporting processes, including data extracts, analysis, and issue resolution
• Partnering with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues
• Documenting data flows, processes, and controls to support audit and compliance requirements
• Assisting with system enhancements, upgrades, and testing related to finance data and reporting tools
• Identifying opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and reporting processes
• Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• Experience supporting financial systems, data analysis, or finance operations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends or discrepancies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial systems, ERPs, or reporting tools
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, or similar data analysis tools
• Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., Service Now)
• Understanding of finance and accounting concepts
• Experience working in a cross-functional or support-oriented role
