Corporate Controller

We are currently supporting our client, a private equity-owned distribution and manufacturing company with revenue of around $500 million, based in the Midwest, in their search for a Corporate Controller.

*** This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in Michigan where the corporate office are located.***

• Collaborate with the CFO and executive team to enhance financial strategies, focusing on efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
• Lead the creation of financial dashboards and KPIs, driving continuous improvement in processes and providing actionable insights for growth and scalability.
• Establish and enforce accounting principles and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements, while overseeing financial statement preparation, management reports, and audits.
• Co-lead the annual budget and forecasting process, providing financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decisions, optimize costs, and align financial processes during M&A activities.
• Build and lead a high-performing accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration while driving process excellence in Accounts Payable and Receivable and promoting transparency and continuous improvement across national operations.

• Experience as a Corporate Controller, preferably in a distribution, wholesale, or manufacturing environment with revenues exceeding $200 million and multiple sites.
• Experience with ERP Systems
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Demonstrated success in building efficient, scalable financial processes.
