About the Role

Ocado’s Treasury team oversees developing and implementing Treasury strategy and managing financial risks. This includes trading in capital (debt/equity) and other financial markets, running Front and Back Office activities, and managing the Treasury Management System (Kyriba).

The Treasury Analyst (Back Office) is a key member of the Back Office Treasury department, responsible for the settlement, confirmation, bank clearing, and monthly bank account reconciliation of all Ocado entities with Fusion ERP. This role involves mapping Treasury accounting files from Kyriba into Fusion.

The Treasury Analyst (Back Office) ensures that all bank transactions (receipts and payments) are accurately reconciled and accounted for on a timely basis across all Ocado Group’s bank accounts according to defined Service Level Agreements, as reported via a suite of KPIs.

The team also delivers monthly Bank Account vs GL reconciliations, ensuring any reconciling items are flagged and actions to clear them are identified.

The Treasury Analyst (Back Office) reports directly to the Treasury Back Office Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and escalate open bank clearing items to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Ensure bank clearing activities comply with Group Finance policies and practices.

  • Handle regulatory reporting (KYC, UBO declarations) and other tasks as delegated by the Director of Treasury or Back Office Lead.
  • Process Oracle journal entries to support the monthly closure of accounting books and bank records.
  • Control treasury spending, including raising POs, logging costs, and maintaining documents.
  • Ensure high-quality preparation and review of bank reconciliations for cash and cash clearing accounts, providing commentary as needed.
  • Support external audit requests with necessary bank reconciliation evidence.
  • Own the administration of Company Card schemes including initial set up, decommissioning, limit changes along with any required reconciliations.

About you

  • Performing cash/bank reconciliations in a high volume, fast changing organisation
  • Experience of working in a global organisation with multiple currencies
  • Ideally post graduate, studying towards Treasury (ACT) or Accounting (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion or other similar ERP systems
  • Experience using Kyriba (Treasury Management System) on a day to day basis will be a major advantage
