At 2 Hour Learning, you won't spend time reviewing outdated budgets or depending on business intelligence teams. You'll create the models, dashboards, and control systems that deliver operators and executives the insight required to make assured decisions—every day. Your output fuels everything from new school openings to strategic realignments, and it must be rapid, precise, and reliable.
You'll be accountable for a real-time, AI-enabled finance infrastructure. This includes unified P&L models for every school and business line, continuously updated 12–18 month forecasts maintained within 72 hours of current reality, and dashboards that highlight the two or three variables that truly drive outcomes. You'll construct all of this using Klair, Syft, and Retool—without requiring engineering resources.
If you want your financial models to shape execution rather than merely document it, this role is for you. You won't observe from the periphery. You'll occupy the center of how we advance.
What You Will Be Doing- Develop and sustain dynamic 3-statement models for every school and vertical — integrating enrollment, staffing, and Cap Ex into a unified forecast.
- Refresh rolling 12–18 month forecasts on a weekly basis using current data and perform scenario analysis for upside/downside exposure.
- Produce executive dashboards powered by live data — isolating critical levers and supporting daily, high-confidence decision-making.
- Leverage AI and automation to identify anomalies, monitor variances, and remove spreadsheet friction throughout finance operations.
- Author concise memos that distill financial risk, strategic alternatives, and budget considerations — at board-ready quality, within 72 hours.
- Administering a protracted budget cycle — your forecasts adapt with the business in real time.
- Enforcing cost center compliance or pursuing expense documentation — you'll prioritize clarity and oversight, not red tape.
- Depending on BI teams — you construct the tools, dashboards, and models independently.
- Sifting through irrelevant data — your role is to extract the few insights that alter the course.
- Creating reports that go unread — your output influences decisions within days.
Key Responsibilities
Provide continuously updated financial models, forecasts, and dashboards that enable daily decision-making and strategic transparency across a fast-expanding network of schools.
Basic Requirements- U.S.
-based and authorized to work without sponsorship - Willing to travel ~25% to campuses across the U.S.
- 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, Big 4 corp finance/M&A (not audit), or high-growth FP&A
- Proven experience building integrated 3-statement models tied to U.S. GAAP
- Comfortable delivering investor-grade analysis and recommendations under tight deadlines
- Has independently built automated finance systems using AI and low-code tools
- CPA/CFA/MBA certification
- ERP experience in Net Suite, Oracle, or SAP
- Familiarity with multi-site education, facilities, or ops-heavy industries
- Experience with board-level reporting or investor-facing materials
- Track record of building AI-automated dashboards or low-code finance tools
- Exposure to high-end service environments with exacting financial standards

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
