đ London or Remote, UK | đ° ÂŁ48,500 â ÂŁ55,000 + share options + Benefits â Our Prudential Risk team Responsibilities- Interpret and apply prudential regulatory requirements with 1st Line of Defence teams.
- Provide cohesive oversight and challenge for regulatory capital and liquidity resource/requirements rule interpretations and regulatory reporting.
- Support the interpretation and evaluation of the impact of prudential regulation on strategic projects and business change, such as international expansion.
- Focus on COREP reporting, with opportunities support ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Planning, Resolution and Financial Forecasting.
- Review upcoming prudential policy (e.g. Basel 3.1) and analyse its impact on Monzo.
- Conduct discrete pieces of assurance to strengthen risk and controls.
- Develop relationships with colleagues to embed prudential compliance activity.
- Support review of financial models used for financial forecasting and capital planning (including the ICAAP).
- Strong working knowledge of UK CRR and PRA Rulebook, specifically regulatory reporting and rule interpretation.
- Intermediate Excel/GâSheet skills essential; experience with regulatory reporting system preferred.
- Experience producing or reviewing regulatory reporting relevant to a retail bank; 1
LoD reporting experience acceptable. - Experience with Big Query and marketâleading reporting systems is preferable.
- Prudential regulatory experience at a bank, consultancy or regulatory body.
- Good knowledge of capital, liquidity and ability to interpret requirements for Monzoâs unique circumstances.
- Strong written communication style and proactive, independent work style.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all business levels.
