Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Verificateur Senior based in Gatineau, QC, with the flexibility for some work-from-home activities. The Verificateur Senior will be responsible for overseeing and conducting internal audits, providing insights into financial and regulatory matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, evaluating financial processes, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and preparing detailed audit reports.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Internal Audits, Financial Services, and Accounting for SMEs
• Experience in Management Consulting, Evaluation, and Special Projects
• Proficient in Facilitation, Learning Solutions, and crafting innovative solutions
• Understanding and application of standards for regulatory compliance and risk assessment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent designation is an asset
• Fluency in both French and English (bilingual proficiency required)
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model and adapt to client needs
