SummaryThe Compliance Officer II is responsible for testing transactions to ensure that the Bank maintains a high level of compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations, anti‑discrimination laws, privacy requirements, and other related procedures across all lines of business. Thisद्ध position plans, conducts, and/or leads moderately complex compliance monitoring projects to identify risks, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, and assess compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Additionally, this position completes and/or oversees the completion of monitoring projects and presents findings and recommendations for corrective actions to management.
- Complete required compliance training and any other regulatory compliance training.
- Stay abreast of significant changes and issues impacting the banking industry related to areas of risk and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the planning of monitoring projects.
- Perform or oversee transaction monitoring and policy and procedure reviews.
- Monitor projects to identify risks, evaluate internal controls, and assess compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Maintain open communication with bank employees throughout the monitoring process regarding review Essentially and potential findings.
- Prepare concise and well‑organized working papers that accurately reflect the results of monitoring performed.
- Review work prepared by other team members on assigned projects to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with department and professional standards.
- Conduct exit meetings with department management to discuss monitoring findings and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk and improve processes.
- Supervise and direct other team members on assigned monitoring projects.

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 1–3 years compliance or quality assurance experience in banking required.
- CRCM – Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager preferred.
- CCBCO – Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer preferred.
- Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse – Frequently.
- Sitting – Frequently.
- Standing – Occasionally.
- Noise Level – Moderate.
- Typical Work hours – M‑F (8‑5).
- Regular and Predictable Attendance – Required.
