Finance & Accounting – Property Tax Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Property Tax Analyst to support multi-state clients with complex property tax compliance. This is a fully remote contract opportunity offering competitive hourly compensation and an immediate start for the right candidate.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant property tax services. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure high-quality execution across multiple jurisdictions.

• Provide high-level client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance
• Evaluate and review information on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation
• Prepare property tax returns and manage bill payments using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)
• Review assessment notices and identify discrepancies or issues requiring follow-up
• Support planning and execution related to property tax compliance and reporting

• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience
• At least two years of hands-on experience in personal property tax compliance
• Direct experience preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS (Property Tax Management Services) – required

• J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, master’s in taxation (MST), or CMI designation
• Experience with additional tax types and their impact on property tax
• Strong understanding of property tax development, planning, and execution

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and personal accountability
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment

• $60 per hour
