• Lead the agency’s budget and fiscal processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with agency priorities
• Deliver advanced fiscal analysis to inform strategic planning and assess financial trends
• Safeguard the agency’s fiscal health and support responsible decision-making
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all budget decisions and changes
• Present complex budget information effectively to leadership and external partners

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in budget preparation, analysis, and administration
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public or Non‑Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for three years of experience
• Graduate‑level degree in relevant areas may substitute for four of the six years of experience
• Advanced analytical and fiscal modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Mastery of Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas

• Experience with state budget, accounting, or enterprise financial systems such as ORBITS or R
  * STARS/SFMA
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively in formal settings
• Collaborative and customer-service-oriented approach to teamwork
  
  Exceptional documentation and organizational skills
