Description
Leads end‑to‑end operational support for Municipal Bond competitive and negotiated offerings, overseeing the full transaction lifecycle. Responsibilities include deal setup in Ipreo and Bloomberg, initiating CUSIP requests, managing good‑faith payments, reviewing and validating deal documentation, executing regulatory filings, and coordinating syndicate final settlement.
- Ensure accuracy of deal data and ticket information in Ipreo, Bloomberg, and Deals Database
- Review official statements, bond purchase agreements, issue price certificates and closing memos for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate pre‑sale good‑faith notification emails to internal partners; coordinate good faith and closing wires
- Process MSRB G‑11 Syndicate Settlement
- Process Private Placement settlement
- Review deal file checklist for all transactions and prepare deal files for closure
- Preparing transaction reports for negotiated issues
- Tracking revenue and expenses for all transactions
- Partner with sales and trading desk to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Maintain adherence to firm policies and procedures
- Identify, monitor, and resolve issues, ensuring adherence to regulations and implementing controls
- Drive and participate in strategic business initiatives that accelerate departmental growth, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate team performance
- Maintain and update desktop procedures
- Support broader Operations and Capital Markets initiatives
- Opportunity to expand to support Debt and Equity Capital Markets underwriting activity
- Conduct continuing disclosure lookbacks on issuers for negotiated or competitive underwritings
- Complete Form G‑32 filings
- Support Risk and Audit requests and inquiries
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5 or more years fixed income trading and/or investment operations experience
- Series 7 license
- Series 52 License (If you obtained a General Securities Representative (Series 7) registration on or after November 7, 2011 the Series 52 is required)
- FINRA Series 53 license
- Strong leadership skills including proven success in managing day‑to‑day operations while developing talent and coaching team members
- Proven ability to lead business initiatives including continuous improvement efforts to maximize efficiencies and remediate process deficiencies
- Experience managing new issues across asset classes, with a focus on municipal securities
- Experience in fixed income securities
- Proficient with Bloomberg TOMS, Pershing Netx
360, MSRB EMMA, DTCC, and IPREO systems - Ability to managevr multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment; adaptive to change
- Ability to create and foster strong partnerships with internal and external business partners
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills to identify issues and assist with resolution
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

CompensationRange
93,000. Annual
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are会上 also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
