Transaction Reporting Business Analyst

You will join as an experienced Business Analyst to work in the Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting team within our Commodities and Global Markets business in Sydney. You will partner closely with stakeholders globally to support the implementation and remediation of APAC projects (e.g. ASIC, MAS, HKMA).

You will work within an agile project team to deliver reform changes, strategic projects, and operational control improvements to meet the needs of our shifting regulatory landscape globally. Your work will vary depending on the project from performing root cause investigation and impact analysis to requirements gathering and facilitation/ project co-ordination. You will need to balance the management of multiple initiatives concurrently to meet deadlines.

As this is a highly visible role, you will not only gain knowledge of traded derivative products, but you will also gain exposure to front to back divisions across Macquarie.

• 5 + years of experience within financial services as a Business Analyst covering derivative products and their trade lifecycle events, preferably with knowledge of transaction regulatory reporting requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in delivery co-ordination managing multiple stakeholders
• Experience in engaging, collaborating, and communicating with both business and technical peers, across offices and time zones
• Experience working within an agile scrum team environment and working towards hard deadlines
• Experience working with messaging formats FpML, JSON, XML is preferrable.
