Mortgage Underwriter – join our underwriting team supporting broker loan processing. Evaluate applications, ensure compliance, and drive high‑quality decisions within a structured, end‑to‑end workflow.

• Underwrite 2–3 new files/day and process 6–8 final approvals/day (volume dependent).
• Partner with Loan Structure & Precision Income teams to finalize approvals.
• Perform credit reviews and quality control; approve/deny loans promptly.
• Ensure adherence to investor guidelines (FHA, HUD, VA, VA IRRRL, VA SAR, Trumps
  
  ID Registration) and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clients and compliance to resolve documentation issues.

• 3+ years mortgage underwriting experience; strong FHA/VA/conventional knowledge.
• Proficiency with AUS, Encompass, and Excel; understanding of HMDA and federal/state regulations.
• Preferred: FHA/HUD/VA credentials (incl. VA SAR) and Trumps

• Shifts 8 AM – 5 PM or 9 AM – 6 PM EST.
• Extensive paid training: 60–75 days (11:00 AM–6:00 PM EST).

Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL. Remote (state restrictions apply).

Pay range: $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
