Lightspeed is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) Finance team in Manila. This role is ideal for a motivated and curious individual who’s keen to go beyond day-to-day accounting and contribute to improving processes across the EMEA finance function. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, owning a range of accounting activities while bringing strong attention to detail, organisation, and a thoughtful approach to data.

• Support daily bank reconciliations across multiple EMEA accounts, including transactions from processors, internal systems, and bank accounts
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate recording of cash balances
• Execute monthly close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and system uploads across EMEA
• Assist with financial controls and internal reporting to support compliance and transparency, including SOX requirements
• Contribute to ad hoc projects such as supporting EMEA audit requests, performing financial clean-ups, preparing external reports, and assisting finance team members as needed

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role
• Background in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, data management, and reporting
• Experience with accounting software such as Net Suite, SAP, or similar tools is a plus
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
