Senior Financial Consultant / Senior Financial Accountant

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus immense growth opportunity

The Senior Financial Consultant/Accountant will work for a small professional services company providing consulting and support services in the real estate and related industries. You will provide financial insights, analysis, and reporting to guide strategic and operational decisions.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and cash flow projections for real estate portfolios and development projects.
• Conduct budget-to-actual reviews and identify key performance drivers and trends.
• Partner with real estate clients to understand their business objectives and provide actionable financial insights.
• Deliver regular financial updates, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses to support client decision-making.
• Assist clients with accounting inquiries and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Help improve and document financial processes, workflows, and reporting systems.
• Support due diligence, feasibility studies, and financial evaluations for property acquisitions, dispositions, or developments.
• Monitor market trends and real estate benchmarks to provide context for financial performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within real estate, investment, or professional services.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI, Argus, or Yardi is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
