Finance Officer

VANRATH is delighted to be working with a prominent and well-known Belfast Charity to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Officer to become part of a well-established finance team. This role will initially be on a 12 month contract basis with potential for extension. Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts. Allocations of receipts / payments. Managing queries within the department from both internal and external customers and clients. Completion of the monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations. Journal preparation and input to the financial systems Support the financial accounting team through the accurate identification of income / expenditure items, providing nominal ledger coding, and providing updates as necessary to staff across the organisation.

About You A qualification in a business / accountancy equivalent to Accounting Technician (or above) AND one years' experience working in a Finance function; OR Two years' experience working in a finance function.
