This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative tax team within a firm that is continually developing new ideas and services to better support its clients.

Working closely with senior tax leaders and colleagues across the firm, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality personal tax services while contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

The role:

You will take responsibility for a varied personal tax portfolio, including more complex clients, and provide both compliance and advisory support. This is a client-facing role offering the opportunity to build strong relationships and identify tax planning opportunities, while mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members. Your responsibilities as a Personal Tax Manager will include:
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients. Preparing and reviewing personal, partnership and trust tax returns. Liaising with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting their implementation. Reviewing technical work prepared by junior team members. Assisting with HMRC enquiries and compliance matters. Collaborating with colleagues across the firm on advisory and project work.

To be considered for this Personal Tax Manager role, you will ideally have: CTA qualification or equivalent. Post-qualification experience within a personal tax environment. Strong technical knowledge of personal tax and related matters. Experience managing a client portfolio and supervising junior staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
