Consultant, Financial Reporting; remote

Founded over 90 years ago, our client is a well-established non‑profit organization in Alberta. With current accounting staff assisting with a software implementation, our client is looking for a Consultant, Financial Reporting who will report directly to the Assistant Director, Finance & Reporting. This is expected to be a 4–5‑month contract and can be done primarily remote.

• Annual financial statement preparation/close (external financial statements and advanced education statements for consolidation)
• Dealing with external auditors
• Some day‑to‑day operations accounting

• 3+ years of post designaton experience
• Experience with both public practice and industry preferred
• Experience with Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards including deferred contributions
• Financial reporting and financial statement preparation
