Specialist, Risk Analytics Researcher; Data Engineering

• Assist in the research and implementation of financial engineering, data science, and statistical techniques for risk management
• Support regular testing of risk limits to guide management on asset allocation and product growth decisions
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure consistent model assumptions and outputs
• Review and analyze model outputs to identify limitations and impacts
• Develop and update model documentation for rationale and business continuity

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with data, including SQL, Python, and R
• 4+ years of experience using tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, and AWS
• Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Familiarity with property underwriting and/or insurance background

• Graduate-level studies in finance, accounting, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
• Progress toward professional designations such as FCAS, FSA, CQF, or CFA
• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical techniques applicable to risk modeling
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with risk management operations such as asset-liability management
