We are seeking an Accountant that will be supporting the company’s financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The role ensures accuracy of financial records, timely reporting, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to support business decision-making.
WHAT YOU'LL DO 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting- Manage the team in handling of day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, GL entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in consolidation and management reporting for management review.
- Support preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and highlight variances.
- Provide financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities for statutory filings and audits.
- Ensure that all GST, corporate tax, and other compliance matters are completed.
- Work with the Finance Manager to prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Support treasury functions, including payments, collections, and banking transactions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Support implementation of finance systems, policies, and procedures.
- Provide finance-related support to other departments as required.
- Various finance administrative tasks
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA/CPA/CA (Singapore) certifications is an advantage
- 3–5 years’ experience in accounting/finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with Xero, Sun System is an advantage.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
