Role Description

This is a full‑time Loan Officer role offered as a hybrid position based in Newark, NJ, with both office‑based and remote work flexibility. In this position, the Loan Officer will establish and maintain relationships with clients, evaluate financial profiles, assist with mortgage applications, and recommend loan products to meet clients' needs. The Loan Officer will also be responsible for guiding clients through the lending process, evaluating financial documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan structures, and current lending regulations.
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documentation to evaluate client eligibility.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing CRM tools and loan origination systems (LOS).
  • Licensed Loan Officer preferred (NMLS ) or willingness to obtain relevant certification.
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or a related field is a plus.
