- Assist in managing month‑end financial statement preparation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Approve invoices for the employer and its subsidiary
- Serve as the system administrator for finance department applications
- Support the Controller in the operations of the accounting department, including organizational design
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit processes
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of related experience with at least 2 years in leadership; or Master’s Degree and 6 years of related experience with at least 1 year in leadership
- Thorough knowledge of insurance accounting principles, GAAP, and insurance taxation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage diverse projects simultaneously
- Exceptional oral and written presentation skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial issues clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CIA, or equivalent)
- Experience in the insurance industry
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- AIAF (Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance) designation
