- Perform premium processing, address customer inquiries, and maintain confidentiality. You'll resolve issues to exceed customer expectations while maintaining efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
- Analyze statements, oversee premium payments for groups, and uphold data integrity in company systems.
- Ensure accuracy in billing statements and premium payments. Identify, evaluate and resolve eligibility and billing entries.
- Identify and communicate premium and eligibility errors as needed.
- Maintain certificate holder eligibility and premium application. Ensure full compliance with coverage requirements outlined in policyholder contracts and relevant state and federal regulations.
- Strong background in working with numbers in a billing capacity.
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard and calculator, as well as proficient typing and data entry skills with strict attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside sound judgment, creativity, and flexibility.
- You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Able to work remotely with access to a high‑speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Experience in professional office roles involving insurance products, and accounting.
- Knowledge of contract provisions and the ability to communicate in terms a customer can understand regarding premium collection.
