Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough validation and testing of models to assess their accuracy, performance, and suitability for intended purposes
  • Summarize work in formal written reports
  • Prioritize and negotiate the resolution of identified model issues
  • Partner with business units to monitor ongoing model performance
  • Stay informed about advancements in quantitative modeling and risk measurement
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial and/or statistical analysis, quantitative modeling, or risk measurement
  • Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics
  • Proficient to advanced skills with quantitative modeling tools (Python, R, SAS, Matlab, SQL)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Ability to develop financial/statistical models and understand statistical tests of model performance
  • Proficiency using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience working collaboratively with various departments and presenting recommendations effectively
