Our client is a manufacturing SME operating in the food and beverage industry.

Based in North Somerset, our client is looking to recruit a full‑time Finance Director for a minimum of 6 months (this could be extended or potentially become permanent) to cover a period of transition. There is some flexibility for remote work.

The Finance Director will lead the finance function and be responsible for all reporting and compliance.

• Managing financial planning and strategy
• Preparing accurate financial statements
• Overseeing financial reporting and analysis

• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborating with leadership teams to support the company’s financial health and growth

• Proficiency in financial planning with ability to develop and implement effective strategies
• Strong understanding and experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Outstanding analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to guide strategic decisions
• Expert knowledge in financial reporting and overall finance management
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Appropriate professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
• Prior experience in a leadership or senior financial role within a dynamic business environment
• Experience working with UK financial regulations and understanding tax and compliance requirements
