Overview

A growing Taunton‑based firm of chartered accountants is looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their successful corporate tax team. The role offers the opportunity to manage the delivery of wide‑ranging, complex compliance and planning projects to a diverse client base, and to carve an influential career within a rapidly expanding business with clear progression on offer. The position is based in Taunton, with a mix of remote/home working and office involvement, flexible hours, parking and competitive benefits.

• Deliver complex compliance and tax planning to a portfolio of limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, larger groups, corporates and international clients.
• Lead on the planning and tax advisory work, including capital allowances, international tax queries and a wide range of other project work such as group relief, R&D, due diligence and other tax planning.
• Manage and oversee a wider team, contribute to their development, review work and support ongoing professional growth.
• Take overall responsibility for a portfolio of clients, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.

• ACA/CTA qualified or holding similar qualifications.
• Career background within corporate tax compliance and planning, typically developed within a Top 4, Top 10 or Top 50 firm, or an independent accounting firm of any size.
• Experience at approximately the Corporate Tax Manager level, with a desire to progress within a leading accountancy practice.
