OverviewArthrex is a fast‑growing medical device company specialising in sports medicine and related areas. This role involves collecting debt and maintaining the accounts receivable ledger, managing customer accounts, resolving queries and issuing credit notes to facilitate timely settlement of outstanding sales invoices.
Duties and Responsibilities- Post cash receipts
- Email statements to customers
- Make calls to customers to chase debt and resolve queries
- Provide proof of deliveries to customers where required
- Ad‑hoc tasks related to year‑end audit
- Manage a portion of the total accounts receivable ledger (cash collection £100 m+) with full autonomous responsibility
- Manage customer relationships as an extension of the sales team
- Collaborate with internal departments as part of the overall debt‑collection strategy
- Work within established processes and continuously suggest improvements
- Experience with SAP desirable but not essential
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills (phone and email) with customers and other departments
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment – 8,000 sales invoices per month
- Enthusiastic, reliable, hard‑working
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Proficiency with spreadsheets – Microsoft Excel
Full‑time position: 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday. Hybrid arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days working from home). First 4–6 weeks training solely in the Sheffield office.
Travel ActivityOccasional travel to other national sites may be required.
Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience. The package includes 25 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (pro‑rata), with the option to buy or sell additional holiday days.
