Job Title: DoD Posting Logic Consultant Clearance Required: Secret Location: Remote

About the Role: Biz First is seeking a DoD Posting Logic Consultant to support a Department of Defense (DoD) customer with high-level financial reporting and policy compliance efforts. This role centers on applying and advising on DoD financial standards, particularly USSGL ,
SFIS ,
Tie Points , and Posting Logic , to ensure accurate, audit-ready financial reporting and system alignment with federal accounting policies.

The ideal candidate will have deepexperience navigating DoD financial systems and frameworks, and the ability tobridge policy requirements with data reporting practices across the enterprise.

• Serve as a Consultant on DoDfinancial data standards , supporting both financialleadership and technical teams
• Interpret and apply USSGL ,
  SFIS ,
  Tie Point , and Posting Logic standards.
• Analyze financial transactions for accuracy and alignment with DoD financial policy
• Support system and data validation efforts to ensure correct implementation of posting logic and tie points
• Develop and review financial reports, reconciliations, and documentation to support internal controls and audit readiness
• Liaise with stakeholders to translate policy guidance into actionable data/reporting requirements
• Provide input on systemenhancements, testing, and implementation strategies for financialcompliance initiatives

• Extensive experience in DoDfinancial reporting and compliance
• Strong expertise in:
• USSGL (U.S. Standard General Ledger)
• Tie Points and reconciliation logic
• Posting Logic for journal entry transactions
• Deep understanding of DoDfinancial management regulations, policy, and audit requirements
• Experience supporting federalfinancial system design, reporting, or internal control activities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and policy audiences

• Experience supporting the Officeof the Secretary of Defense (OSD) or other major DoD components
• CPA, CGFM, or CDFM certification preferred
• Familiarity with enterpriseresource planning (ERP) or financial systems such as DAI,
  DEAMS ,
  GFEBS ,
  DCAS , or similar
